It was a pleasant day and the staff at Riveredge Hospital was
more than helpful in assisting the residents and attendees with all of the concerns. Carey Carlock, Chief Executive Officer
at Riveredge Hospital is an Oak Park resident with kids in the
local elementary school system. She enjoys her work, appreciates the work of the Forest Park Police department,
and loves the region with all of its diversity and events to
attend.

Riveredge Hospital Recognizes Community Partners at Wellness Fair Celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month
Riveredge to Honor the Forest Park Police Department and Other Community Organizations

Riveredge Hospital will recognize community providers and partners
at its Wellness Fair celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month. Highlights include Riveredge CEO Carey Carlock honoring the
Forest Park Police Department for its commitment to community partnership. Chief Jim Ryan and Deputy Chief Tom Aftanas will
accept a plaque and offer remarks on behalf of the entire Forest
Park Police Department. Representatives from Chicago’s Crisis Intervention Team program, the Berwyn Police Department and
others will also be acknowledged.

Additionally, the Wellness Fair will promote mental health awareness and community wellness with presentations, interactive activities and booths sponsored by the Jason Foundation, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Sarah’s Inn, Guardian Angel Home and others in an effort to promote a culture of complete wellness.

Riveredge Hospital Chief Executive Officer Carey Carlock, Forest Park Police Department Chief of Police Jim Ryan, representatives from DCFS and more than 100 community providers, partners and Riveredge Hospital staff members.
