Oak Park Police Chief Rick Tanksley Was Successful in Getting a 20 year Oak Park Police Officer Fired from the Department. commentary by Ed Vincent Oak Park Police Officer Christian
Priesmeyer will be missed by many of his friends on the
department. He is no longer allowed in the department and has
been officially terminated from the Police department.
There were over four hours of testimony and questions concerning the termination of Officer Priesmeyer on Saturday, February 20th. Officers have told us large numbers that Priesmeyer was an honest Policeman, and a good person and his firing will only make the atmosphere at the department that much more tense. Christian Priesmeyer will keep his 20 years on the department that will help with his retirement. Many are saddened by this "vendetta from the Chief", as one Officer put it. Those sentiments are wide spread and far reaching. 01-12-2010-Priesmeyer-Tanksley-charges News and reports of Chief Tanksley's 45 day suspension and 18 month probation. ![]() ![]() © Suburban Journals of Chicago Inc. published by Suburban Journals of Chicago Inc. |
